Jennifer Baker, LCSW
Licensed Mental Health Clinician
Jennifer Baker is originally from Northeast Ohio and moved to Florida with her husband and three children in 2023 to enjoy the sunshine and warmer weather. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Lake Erie College and a M.S. in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University. From the time she was a young adult, she knew she would be fulfilled supporting young children and their caregivers. Jennifer has spent the last 21 years working with children and families. Fifteen of those years were spent providing mental health counseling to children and caregiver guidance for families, utilizing her warmth, experience and clear strategies to foster change.
Before moving to St. Johns County, Jennifer was the Director of Early Childhood Treatment Services for a non-profit focused on mental and physical health. She has continued to pursue her passion supporting the well-being of families through her work as a Mental Health Specialist and Consultant. That role allows her to provide training and technical assistance around resilience, self-care, and nurturing a culture of wellness to Head Start/ Early Head Start grant recipients across eight states.
Jennifer is happy to continue partnering with families within her clinical capacity at Nautilus Behavioral Health. She specializes in early childhood mental health and parent education. She has worked with diverse populations, including military families with physical and mental health needs. She has experience treating a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges with expertise in trauma, life stressors, anxiety, depression and mood instability. Jennifer is currently a licensed clinical social worker in both Florida and Ohio.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends traveling, hiking and exploring nature, reading, puzzling and snuggling her three dogs.
