Madeline Jubran, Ph.D.
Psychology Resident
Madeline Jubran, PhD, is a Jacksonville native who is excited to serve children, adolescents, and families in the community she has always called home. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed her predoctoral internship at the University of Florida Counseling and Wellness Center, where she provided individual, couples, and group therapy, as well as psychological assessment services, to university students.
Dr. Jubran works with children, adolescents, and families experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional and behavioral challenges, and relationship difficulties. She also provides parent training and family therapy services, helping families strengthen communication, navigate challenges, and better understand one another.
What drew Dr. Jubran most to this work was a curiosity about the ways relationships shape our lives. She believes that our relationships with parents, children, friends, partners, and even ourselves often hold important clues about both our struggles and our strengths. This interest led her to pursue specialized training in couples therapy, communication, and conflict navigation. She especially enjoys helping parents gain insight into the emotions, needs, and experiences that may be driving their child's behavior.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and informed by developmental, interpersonal, and other evidence-based perspectives. She strives to create a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are while exploring new ways of responding to life's challenges.
Dr. Jubran currently serves as a Psychology Resident, a role that represents the final stage of professional training before becoming a licensed psychologist in Florida. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue learning from experienced clinicians while supporting clients through life's challenges and transitions. Whether she is helping a child manage big emotions, supporting a family through a difficult season, or working with an adolescent navigating change, her goal is to help clients leave therapy with a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and where they want to go next.
Outside of work, Dr. Jubran enjoys spending time with her Labrador Retriever, Hudson, being out on the water with family and friends, and cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars through both the exciting seasons and the character-building ones. She feels fortunate to serve the community that helped shape her.
